Good question! For many people, the Body Polish is the first step in their beauty routine, as this gentle exfoliant removes the top layer of dry or damaged skin, while gently conditioning and moisturizing the skin layers beneath.

The Body Butter is just that—a rich, deeply penetrating balm-like cream blended with raw Shea butter and other natural products that leaves the skin silky smooth and the senses energized. It has the thick texture of unrefined butter, so only a small amount is needed. Warm it up in your fingertips to soften it, and then spread it onto those extra dry areas, such as the hands, feet, and elbows.

The Body Serum is a light, non-greasy spray made from pure essential oils and anti-oxidizing nutrients that intensely moisturize the skin so it feels smooth and richly nourished. Spray the body serum on your hands and massage it onto your body or mist it directly onto your skin.

Absolutely! Itiba products, except the Kaya Body Polish, are gentle enough to use on your face, but use the Body Butters and Body Polishes gently.

We use many of the nourishing, natural ingredients that are found in abundance in the Caribbean, including:

• Aloe Vera Juice for its moisturizing properties
• Avocado Oil for its skin conditioning and softening abilities
• Coconut and Palm Oils for their cleansing and lathering abilities
• Cornmeal for healthy, beautiful skin and to help in the removal of blemishes and scars
• Jojoba to help skin stay supple
• Rice Bran for its ultraviolent protection and omega fatty acids
• Turmeric and Myrrh Gum Powder that act as antiviral and antibacterial agents
• Unrefined Shea Butter for its conditioning effects

Unlike many mass-produced beauty brands, Itiba products do NOT contain silicone oil, mineral oil, parabens (a preservative used in cosmetic products),and phthalates (a chemical used to make plastics more flexible and used in many mass-produced personal care products). It is suitable for all skin types.

Many men do! While some prefer the gently fruity scent of our Papaya, Mango and Carib Lime products, many others go for the evocative earthy scents of our Carib Spice, the relaxing lavender and ylang ylang of our Tranquil Sea, or the soothingly sensual MidNite Rain. It’s all a matter of preference.

All items, except for soaps are packaged in amber, phthalate-free plastic bottles and jars. Soaps are shrink-wrapped; body polishes are packaged in phthalate free amber jars.

Due to COVID-19 and the holiday season, turn around time for orders it 7-10 days.

Primarily, we use Flat Rate Priority shipping by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

While we are still in recovery mode, there is a delay on product production and shipping. Our facility was damaged during the hurricane and as a result has caused a severe delay in the production and shipment of orders.

Insurance is automatically added to the shipping via USPS. If the package is lost or damaged, then the customer should file the claim with USPS so that all funds are sent directly to you. If you request that itiba file the claim, then the money will be refunded to your account/credit card via PayPal.

Payments MUST be cleared first before in-stock items are shipped and before work is done for custom orders. PayPal is the accepted payment source unless authorized by Yoki K Hanley to use alternate methods. Shipping will be done through USPS International Priority Mail where available. Other International carriers such as DHL, FedEx International and UPS International may be used if necessary. Customer pays ALL shipping charges. There will be a separate PayPal request for international shipping charges. ORDERS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL FREIGHT CHARGES ARE PAID IN FULL.
